Why do I have two library cards when I am logged in with my SEAMK email address?

If you log in to SEAMK-Finna using your SEAMK email (HAKA) and a second library card appears in your account, this is due to changes in the system.
The second library card is the same as the one you already had, and regardless of which library card you choose, you will see the same loan and reservation information, among other things. The only difference is in the presentation of the email. The email attached to one library card has the format Firstname.Lastname(at)seamk.fi and the other has the format username(at)seamk.fi.
The fact that your library card appears twice on your account does not affect your use of SEAMK-Finna, but you can delete the second library card if you wish.
Deleting the second library card
- If you want to delete the second library card, delete the card with the email address shown as username(at)seamk.fi. To delete the card, click on the Disconnect Library Card -function on the right-hand side of the card.
- Do not delete the card with an address in the format Firstname.Lastname(at)seamk.fi. In this format, the library card is automatically linked to account.
- Alternatively, you can delete both cards from your account. Next time you log in, the library card will automatically reappear (only one card).
