How can I login to SeAMK-Finna?

Logging into SEAMK is different for SEAMK students and staff than for other customers.
1. Login with SeAMK user account (HAKA login)
- SEAMK students and staff log in using SeAMK User name and Password. Haka login uses multi-factor authentication. You can find more information about multi-factor authentication on Jelppari’s web pages.
2. Login with email address (login link)
- Other patrons than SeAMK students and staff can order a single-use login link to their email address.
- The address has to be the same which a patron has notified the library.
- SeAMK-Finna will send you a link by email which you can use to login.
- You must use the same device and the same browser to order and log in to a link.
- No password or PIN code is needed.
3. Login with a Finna ID
Logging in with a Finna ID is an alternative for the single-use login with your email. (For patrons other than at SeAMK)
- If you don’t have SeAMK Library’s library card yet, please fill in the application.
- Select Login from the top menu bar. Select Finna ID.
- Create a new Finna ID. Enter your email as well as your choice of username and password into the form. The email address has to be the same which you have notified the library. After you have completed the form, click on Submit. Tip! Your email address is a good username, as it is easy to remember
- Your new Finna ID has been created once you have verified your email address.
Always end your session from the main menu (under your name) by selecting Log Out.
Remembering your login
It is also possible to save your username and password when logging in. Remembering login information applies to logging in with an e-mail or Finna account, but not to logging in with a Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences account.
- If you want to save your login details, select the option “Remember my login for the next 180 days” when you log in.
- Remembering the login is based on cookies. If the browser session is closed so that cookies are lost, the login will not remain valid.
- Remembering the login is specific to the browser and device. If you use the SeAMK-Finna search service on multiple devices and with different browsers, remembering the login must be selected separately for each of them.
- If you want to erase your login details before 180 days have passed, log out of your user account. You can also manage your saved login details in your Profile under Saved logins.
- You should never save your own login data on shared computers!
