How is the library open?

Library opening hours during semester

  • Monday–Friday 9am–5pm.
  • Self-service 9am–10am. During self-service there is no staff at the information desk.
  • Customer Service is open 10am–5pm.
  • In addition, SEAMK students and staff, as well as degree students at the University Consortium of Seinäjoki, can use the library on their own with SEAMK access rights from Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm. More information on the unstaffed library service.

Exceptions in opening hours

  • Limited opening hours on eves of midweek holidays, on weeks 9 ja 42, in May-August and between Christmas and Epiphany.

Tapio-sali

  • Access to Tapio-sali and to pick up requests and check in loans on weekdays at 7.30am–6.00pm
  • SEAMK students have access to Tapio-Sali according to the instructions available on SEAMK Intra. (through C0 entrance)
